WW1 German Feldmützen Cap Cockade Mützenkokade Kokarde Bayern (Bavaria) Aged #33
The Kingdom of Bavaria (German: Königreich Bayern; Bavarian: Kinereich Bayern) was a German state that succeeded the former Electorate of Bavaria in 1805 and continued to exist until 1918. This version is the pin back version worn on mostly private purchase caps by enlisted men, NCO's and Officers.
The Kokarde was worn central on the headband on Krätzchen, Schirmmütze and Feldmütze. This version is one of several versions produced. It is attached to the cap using the two prongs on the reverse.
It is 20mm in diameter and the prongs are 17mm long.
