This is a super German Kapitänleutnant cap, made of top quality blue wool material and in the same method and materials as the originals. It is difficult to tell does not date from WW2, as just purchased. It has single gold braid rank on the peak and leather chinstrap, gold buttons, leather head liner and celluloid head top liner are some of the outstanding features. Comes with white cover that can be fitted over the fixed blue top.
The eagle is our metal museum quality one with outstanding detail and the wreath is hand made of bullion material.
The white top is removable (so it can be washed) and it is marked EREL - Sonder Klasse - OKK - Berlin on both liner and sweat protector. This cap is made in Germany and the EREL mark is copyright, making it even more exclusive. Made by German craftsmen, in German factory using German materials a superb piece of history brought back to life.
