Aged condition Museum quality Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss Cap Badge worn by the German Mountain troops during WW2. Made from metal alloy and with two attachment pins.

The badge is approximately 29mm in diameter and is thought to be the first version introduced. It is made in two parts with the stamen correctly attached to the leaves with flat bent tabs. There are two attachment pins (not tabs!) used to attach it to the cap! It is finished in a matt silver and gold wash - again just like the originals!
Our version is pretty much an exact copy and taken from an original - see the final picture, the original edelweiss is the bottom one with our new and aged versions above it.
