Reproduction Late War M31 WW2 German Chin Strap Fully complete & new with steel buckle and studs and optional maker markings.
This is a fully complete and New WW2 German Helmet chin-strap, unmarked or makers marked. Inferior quality compared to early war straps which reflects the mid to late stages of the war when materials were becoming short.
These straps are the correct two colour leather - very light tan and black and are equipped with a steel buckle. The straps come with the steel fastening studs. The thickness is 2mm - thinner than early war straps.
There are 13 holes as per the majority of the originals (although 12 hole originals do exist). The makers mark is embossed into the leather.
Worn on mainly M42 helmets but of course also seen on M40's and M35's as all straps were interchangeable.
