Stencil template that can be used on World War Two M1 Helmets to create the 31st US Infantry Division Army helmet insignia. Like all our stencils they can be reused several times.
It measures 45mm in diameter and can be painted only in red or with a white background and is suitable for hand painting.
Paint the red circle and 'DD' in red, remove the stencil and then hand paint the 'tabs'. You can leave it 'as is' or hand paint the white background. Alternatively, if you know you want the white background just paint the outer circle white, remove and paint the circle white. Reapply the stencil and paint in the red parts.
