These are outstanding reproduction hand made field caps using genuine WW2 Plane Tree 6 overprint Material. In-fact you could describe these as genuine but made after WW2! They represent front made caps which were numerous during the war.
Make no mistake these are not the cheap thin reproduction caps from the far East sold on well known auction sites. These are hand made from genuine SS Plane Tree 6 overprint material, with the reverse Autumn material visible. These caps were mainly worn without insignia. The reinforcement of the peak is material that was also used in WW2.
The threads used are cotton/linen and not modern poly-threads! These are superbly crafted caps and each one will be unique!
