Reproduction Polish Legions Maciejówka of Józef Piłsudski was the basic headgear of the Legion and rifle units. This cap was the favourite headgear of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. Maciejówka survived with minor modifications until after the Polish-Bolshevik war.

Made from wool, leather and cotton, with silvered coloured buttons and Polish eagle badge. The screw on badge has the crownless eagle and 'L' for Legions. The buttons have the crowned eagle and are finished in silver colour.
The crown is made from good quality Hechtgrau (Pike Grey) wool with the distinguishing welt running round the outer headband. The chinstrap is of the correct buckle-less type leather.
The inner and outer peak is made from brown leather with the inner headband made from soft leather with a hidden felt strip to the reverse. The inner liner is made from black cotton.
