The 4th Mountain Division (German: 4. Gebirgs Division) was a mountain infantry division of the Heer during World War II. The division was active from October 1940 to May 1945 and participated in the Balkans campaign as well as on the Eastern Front.
We believe this to be one of the most accurate reproductions of the Enzian (Gentian) flower on the market today and is the pin back version. Comes in brand new condition and usually worn on the left side of the cap next to the Edelweiss.
35mm tall x 22mm wide. Attached using the pin on the reverse. The mountain cap in the picture is not for sale. The final picture compares the new version and the aged version.
