Created in 1937 Ops Control was structured, hierarchical system designed to manage the civilian response to air attacks, protect the population, and coordinate emergency services. This helmet would have been worn by Ops Officers in charge of the various regions.

This marking and other variations, were used on British Tommy helmets by the ARP Ops Officers.


The stencil is made from very high quality acrylic vinyl with tacky backing, which in layman's terms means its re-usable. It measures 20mm tall and 191mm wide.


Suitable for hand or spray painting but the 'tabs' will need to be hand painted in.
