This decal is the second pattern eagle and is commonly referred to as the 'standard or 'ET' pattern decal. It was used on Luftwaffe helmets between 1937 to 1943 both on smooth and rough texture paint.


This variant has no dot on the left wing and is usually found on ET (Eisenhuttenwerke Thale) or Q (Quist), Air Force Helmets but is also found on all other manufacturers helmets. There is a slight yellow tone to this decal.
