USA - Custom Charges Information:
The USA government has issued an executive order to eliminate the de minimis exemption for imports from all countries (the threshold below which imported goods won’t need to be charged duties and taxes). The policy will go live in August 2025. Starting in August, all shipments to the USA—regardless of value—will be subject to applicable USA duties and customs clearance. Shipments might also experience delays due to the new tariffs and increased US Customs requirements. So in summary, if you reside in USA and you purchase items from outside the USA there will be import charges to pay when the item reaches USA Customs. Comments are closed.
