German un-applied Heer combat helmet decals.. WW2 period transfer decals for combat helmets. Made by the well known firm of (Eduard), Ed Strache Warnsdorf. All are complete with no tears or major flaking. Very difficult to find and a nice display piece for a headgear collector.
Usually found on M16 and M18 Transitional helmets. The eagle decals are mounted on the paper sheet in a reverse image so that when the reverse of the sheet is applied to the helmet the obverse of the decal will be facing outward.
The obverse of the sheet has four, light blue, outlines of the national eagle with down-swept wings within a shield shaped border. The obverse of each decal has printed manufacturers name and location, "Ed. Strache Warnsdorf". The reverse side of the sheet has four bright silver foil, shield shaped borders with a faint image of the national eagle just visible on each. The decals are in overall excellent condition.
We recommend not trying to apply them to a helmet - it is unlikely to work! Limited supply!
Quantity '1' etc. will get you one decal - not a sheet of decals!
