Pre WW1 - Ferdinand von Zeppelin Kaiserlichen Aero Club Berlin Cap
Store > WW1 German Soft Headwear > Ferdinand von Zeppelin Visor Cap Aged Reproine
The former airport Berlin-Johannisthal was opened in 1909 as one of the very first (if not the first) civilian airports in Germany. The airfield was home to the Kaiserlichen (Imperial) Aero-Club. One of the major club members was Ferdinand von Zeppelin, (Airship Designer).
The cap is original and made in Germany, we have marked it with a makers mark and added the chinstrap & badges to represent the one worn by Ferdinand von Zeppelin.
This cap is perfect for display or living history as it has been made to look 100+ years old.
Please email us. if you want a similar one although this cap is a 'one off' as we are unlikely to secure another cap from Germany but we will be working on new & aged versions of this cap.
