Reproduction Museum quality WW2 German Paratrooper Helmet M38, shell & Straps. Finished in white camouflage paint and double Luftwaffe decals which are 5% visible and 99% intact.
This is a superb winter camouflage helmet shell. On the inside it has 'ET71' and batch number '4109' and the early war green paint is clearly visible. It has the indented and rusty rim and the bolts are well rusted. The shell has discolouration, stains and a textured feel in places.
On the outside: It has the standard early war vented steel spanner bolts. It was originally early war green colour with eagle and national colours decals and then painted in white paint. The white paint has lots of wear, rust stains, yellowing age effect and hairline cracks (see pictures). This is a superb aged shell.
The liner is again Museum quality and marked. The chinstraps are really first class museum quality reproductions with age related wrinkling, tarnish on the grommets and a fantastic looking age related colour.
Originals like this would sell for several thousand pounds. This is a high quality replica at a snip of a price.
