This cap reflects one worn by Generals after January 1943, when the insignia changed from silver to gold. It is in aged condition as if worn in the field and badly stored. The name tag is that of Paul Ludwig Ewald von Kleist - commander of Panzer Group Kleist (later 1st Panzer Army).

It is a super German Generals cap, made of top quality tricot/gaberdine material and in the same method and materials as the originals. It is difficult to tell does not date from WW2. It has gold braid piping, and gold chinstrap, gold buttons, leather liner, Vulkanfibre peak and celluloid head liner are some of the outstanding features.
