Reproduction USAAF 'St. Christopher Be my Guide' Cap Badge. These were produced in the 1930s and 1940s as a good luck charm representing 'St. Christopher' the the patron saint of travellers. They were also worn on USAAF Flight caps. This badge is in Aged condition,

The legend is that St. Christopher carried a child, who was unknown to him, across a river before the child revealed himself as Christ.
The fifth and sixth pictures show our aged reproduction badge on our B-2 Flying Cap.
These were not only fixed to automobile sun visors (hence the two pins), but worn on USAAF caps - see the penultimate picture of a genuine USSAF Cap and St. Christopher.
