The Queen's Messenger Convoys (some references state initially 18 convoys, later 21 in total) were created in early 1941 to provide emergency welfare assistance to areas affected by bombing.

This marking and other variations, were used on British Tommy helmets by the Queen Messenger Convoys in WWII. The stencil is made from very high quality acrylic vinyl with tacky backing, which in layman's terms means its re-usable.
It measures 34mm tall and 71mm wide.
Suitable for hand painting but the 'tabs' on the 'Q', will need to be hand painted after stencil has been removed.
