WW2 German Army Cavalry Officers Visor Cap - Aged
This is a reproduction aged, Schirmmützen cap for a Cavalry Officer. The maker is EREL and has a makers marks in the crown. The cap, traditions skull, eagle and wreath are reproduction.

The skull badge was worn by various units of Infantry regiment 17 and by some units of the Reiter-regiment 13 and all units of the 41'st Cavalry regiment from the 4th Cavalry Division.
The wreath is a early war version and the eagle is aluminium. It has a Vulkanfibre peak and leather sweatband.
All suitable aged up to give it authentic used and worn look, original versions go for about £700 upwards if you can find one for sale!
