Civilian War Deaths (CWD) Helmet Stencil WW2
Set up by local authorities they called upon undertakers and related mortuary workers to help collect civilian deaths during WW2. A harrowing and dangerous job hence the provision of helmets with appropriate markings. White markings on black helmets were also valid.

This marking and other variations, were used on British Tommy helmets by the City or Local Authority in WWII. The stencil is made from very high quality acrylic vinyl with tacky backing, which in layman's terms means its re-usable. It measures 35mm tall and 112mm wide.
Suitable for hand or spray painting.
