The Special Constabulary is the part-time volunteer section of statutory police forces in the United Kingdom and some Crown dependencies. Its officers are known as special constables. During WW2 many of them were armed. The Special Constables should not be confused with the Police War Reserve.

This marking and other variations, were used on British Tommy helmets by the Special Constables Police in WWII. The stencil is made from very high quality acrylic vinyl with tacky backing, which in layman's terms means its re-usable.
