Reproduction WW2 Marine Hitler Youth Cap Tallies. These are approximately 32mm tall and 150cm long. These tallies are made from blue artificial silk which is a type of rayon material mixed with genuine silk.

Out of all of the HJ activity groups, one of the most desirable ones to join was the Marine-HJ (M.H.J.). At its peak in the 1943-1944 period, the Marine-HJ contained over 60.000 boys. Each unit had its own tally usually named after its location.
In 1938 the font changed from 'Latin' script to 'Gothic' script so pre-1938 will be in 'Latin' script. The tally was usually cut down to 115cm long. In April 1940 regulations prescribed gold lettering but was not implemented.
