Part of the Naval Wing of the RFC in the period between April 1912 and July 1914. When it was established, the RFC had two Wings: the Naval Wing, which became the Royal Naval Air Service when the RFC split just before the War; and the Military Wing, which remained as the RFC and was a purely Army organisation.
Enlisted men in the RFC Naval Wing wore standard RN uniform, but with a cap tally that read ROYAL FLYING CORPS.
It is 34mm tall and 178cm long and available in new or aged condition.
