This civil war kepi represents a Infantry unit from the Union Army. It fought in numerous Civil War battles including: 1st & 2nd Battle of Bull Run, Battle of Antietam and Gettysburg. The unit, sadly no longer exists today although the 2nd Battalion, 135th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division (Minnesota Army National Guard) traces its roots back to the historic 1st Minnesota Volunteers.
This would make a great talking piece for your study, office, store, man cave, barbers or similar places of work!
