These eagles were used from approximately 1927 to 1936, when the second version eagle was implemented. This particular 1st pattern eagle came in many different versions and sizes. Used by all arms of the SS and SA. It measures 38mm wide x 26mm tall and is RZM marked on the reverse.

The detailing is extremely impressive and this example existed between 1934 to 1936 generally.
