The stencil is made from very high quality acrylic vinyl with tacky backing, which in laymans terms means its re-usable. It is being sold to do one helmet, applied on the front of the helmet! However, I have been using one of these decals on several helmets and it is still going strong, thats how durable it is!
Stick on or transfer 1'st Inf Div Decals were NEVER used during WW2, they were all hand painted using stencils.
This stencil is suitable for hand painting.
