These are outstanding reproduction factory made field caps using generally genuine WW2 materials, in-fact you could describe these as genuine but made after WW2! They represent manufacturer made caps. The leatherette is made to look WW2 period but has been made after WW2.
Make no mistake these are not the cheap thin reproduction caps from the far East sold on well known auction sites. These are hand & machine made from genuine WW2 cotton material, lined with the correct red WWII material and machine stitched genuine Heer insignia (The customer will need to supply genuine insignia).
The inside sweatband of the cap is WW2 period (except the aged leatherette) and even the threads used are cotton/linen and not modern poly-threads! These are superbly crafted caps. Choice of inner headband or no inner headband.
