US Alphabet 'Naming' Helmet Stencils WW2 American.
Many WW2 US Helmet owners hand painted or stencilled their names on the outside or inside of their helmets. This was a strong practice on US Navy Helmets. It was also practiced by the Infantry and other units but on the inside of the helmet.
You can buy the complete set 'A to Z' or buy them individually. They are 22mm tall and can be hand or spray painted but we recommend hand painting as it would be laborious to spray paint them.
We recommend finding the halfway point on the helmet and apply them individually from the halfway point in both directions. So in the case of 'GUNN' in the pictures, the halfway point is between the 'U and N'. Use the edge of the stencil edge to ensure you get correct spacing and alignment.
