This reproduction U-boat badge is a variant of the U-96 Sawfish. Crews changed and generally most badges were hand made so it is completely likely that there were variants like this in circulation. This one is based on an original.

It is purchased in traditional brass finish, which tarnishes. This badge is individually crafted and the photograph gives and idea of the final finish but each u-boat badge is different and individual.
