Reproduction Imperial German Model 1917 Officer Field Cap (Schirmmützen), are brand and made in Germany.
They are exact high quality reproductions, not cheap Chinese versions. They are exactly like the originals and are made with the correct materials and fittings.
These come in authentic grey/green wool with green cap band and piping and Prussian and Reich cockades and feldgrau (Field Grey - Green), leather visor. This is a folding or "Crusher" cap introduced around 1917 and ended the coloured piping. Some examples came with black chin strap.
