This reproduction helmet is based on the Afrika campaigns of World War Two.
It has dark Luftwaffe apple green grey base paint and then an orange sand coloured camouflage top paint. The paint has aged and worn during combat as well as over the years. It has the early model M38 steel slotted liner retaining bolts.
The inner lining is very well maintained yet aged, again to reflect the period of use and 70+ years of ageing. The lining rubber is fully intact. There are two early to mid war stamps in the liner leather. The eagle decal is 100% intact and 80% visible.
This helmet would make a fantastic item in your DAK Afrika Fallschirmjäger collection and lets face it an original would be GBP £8000+.
