This badge is in aged condition and is made in Germany as the originals were. We believe this to be the best reproduction 14th U-Boat Flotilla hat badge available, with correct colours and details more accurate than all the other copies.

The 14th Flotilla was founded on 15 Dec, 1944 under the command of Kptlt. Helmut Möhlmann. Its history ended in May, 1945 when Germany surrendered. It had the following u-boots assigned: U-294, U-295, U-299, U-318, U-427, U-716, U-995 & U-997
