The badge is made from pressed brass as the originals were and is finished in aged condition.
It has three prongs on the reverse for attaching to the M23 helmet. A perfect item for restoring M1923 Helmets or for Danish Army memorabilia collectors. These badges were in use when the Germans invaded in 1940.
Being brass, this badge can be aged further by leaving outdoors and polishing with brass cleaner and/or wire wool to get a deep aged finish.
