The 'Border' eagle is found on ET M35 and SE M35 Helmets and on all 'reissued' Kriegsmarine Helmets. It is known as the 'bordered' ET eagle as there is a raised line running round the outside of the gold eagle in black/grey/green ink. It is effectively three dimentional and you can feel this when you run your finger over the decal. This was because it was made in two separate print runs and we have recreated this on our 1950's screen printing blocks.
This decal is highly accurate and in our opinion blows any other Kriegsmarine decal out of the water! Notice the curved inner right wing, the outward protruding middle wing tips and the dot on the right talon - all original features and usually missed on cheaper decals!
Our eagle, like the original is reflective, when angled towards the light. A beautifully manufactured eagle of museum quality.
