This cap is a genuine WW2 blue cap - marked SVPRA. The remaining parts are reproduction and aged. We have made it up to represent an NCO Engineers Cap on U-Boat U-174.
The following are the reproduction parts: chinstrap, mohair headband, buttons, wreath and Kriegsmarine eagle.
The vintage period silver plated (835 marked), Viking Boat badge is a genuine badge (found in Germany) and is worth approximately £40 on its own.
Notice the lovely 'crack' marks on the peak, the silk blue lining and the wear and tear to the edge of the peak a superb well used cap.
This is a high quality 'reproine' (Reproduction and Genuine), cap and would look superb in any Kriegsmarine collection.
