Re-usable stencil template that can be used on WWI German Helmets to create the insignia for the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitlers personal body guard unit.

This stencil was used on WW1 German and Austrian helmets up to 1935, after which decals were used on the new M35 helmets. These early SS Runes were either painted freehand or with a stencil. Regardless of application method you can tell they were hand painted compared with decals. Our stencil allows you to replicate this hand painted method.
