The Coast Guard as established on January 28, 1915 and designated a military service and a branch of the armed forces of the United States. In 1939 the United States Lighthouse Service was merged into the US Coast Guard. The USCG served in most war theaters during WW2. The letters are 2cm tall and the stencil is 8cm wide.
This stencil is a little tricky but suitable for hand painting. The 'tabs' can be left as is, or painted in by hand. This is one version of many numerous USCG Helmet designs.
