This decal has been made for M35 & M40 reissue helmets usually (but not always), with the thick border Luftwaffe eagle decal. The reissue was at the factory level and not the field level and it was also found on parade Luftwaffe helmets and Fallschirmjaeger (Paratrooper) helmets.
Notice the difference between this decal and our ET decal #1, this one is 'round' at the bottom while the 'ET' version comes to a point. Also notice the white ink is 'off white', the perfect decal for a lightly aged or varnished effect on your helmet.
