This is a reproduction 1st version, early production Waffen & Allgemeine SS Jawless Skull Badge. This badge would have been worn on the pre-war black SS cap and is seen numerous times on the grey cap, including Kurt Meyer who commanded SS Division Hitlerjugend during World War II.
It was also worn as a traditions badge during WW1 by Leib Husaren Regiment and during WW2 by Infanterie Regiment 17 & the 5th Cavalry Regiment.
It is approximately 28mm tall, 32mm wide and 4mm thick and is available in aged or new condition. The picture with the 6 badges show you the variations in aged finishes, you cannot choose the finish but it will be nicely aged!
The final two pictures shown them being worn by Himmler on a black Allgemeine cap and Kurt Meyer on a crusher field grey cap.
