German Paratrooper Helmet M36 to M38 Conversion

This reproduction helmet is a M36 to M38 conversion of the paratrooper helmet in green paint with double decals. It shows medium wear but with 80+ years of ageing.
It represents one used by the Luftwaffe Fallschirmjaeger from approximately 1939 onwards and is suitably stamped with ET71 (Eisenhutten Thale) and batch number (both are not visible but are present).
The whole helmet shows good service use and aged with dark green paint and rust showing clearly. It has the M38 vented pattern bolts and standard chinstrap again aged and tarnished in many areas. The eagle decal is 90% intact and shows clearly with 'yellowed' varnish, the National colours decal is 760% present. The M36 slots/grommets are all in good condition and the M38 bolts stand proud of the shell representing the conversion process.
This is not an inexpensive paint job as found on most well known auction sites - effort and time has been spent to get it as accurate as possible.
This helmet would make a fantastic displayitem in your Fallschirmjäger collection and lets face it an original similar to this one would be GBP £10,000+.
