Reproduction size 59/60 German U-Boat Submarine Captains Peaked cap with 70+ years of ageing and some worn and tarnished areas as worn by the Captain of a U-boat.
The peak, liner and chinstrap etc. all show good wear and both the inside and outside are stained and aged. There is a rust stain spot on top of the cap. Notice the aged gold wreath emblem and Captains peak ranking are dark and tarnished. Notice the general light wear, dirt and stains. The top is fully removable just like many originals and the eagle is our museum quality version. There is cork all round the inside hidden under the leather sweatband, to make a smaller cap size!
This cap is made in Germany and by EREL but unmarked. We can easily add a 'boot' badge to the side to make a specific u-boat commanders cap if desired - please email us!
