M38 USA Tankers or 'FURY' Helmet. This reproduction helmet is exactly like our new version but has been made to look used and aged. It is perfect for US Armoured collectors, Helmet Collectors or makes a great present for Armoured Division veterans or relatives!
It has been painted OD Green and then hand repainted in OD Green but made to look roughly painted as if done in the field.
The paper 1st Div stencil has been varnished to protect it and it shows good signs of wear and ageing.
The leather is perfect and has dark and painted areas and if you are going to wear it, it could do with some conditioner to clean it and make it softer.
The goggles are optional - they are reproduction Panzer goggles again suitably aged. They have perspex lenses yellowing and cracked in areas.
Most of the poppers have rust on the underside but all still work. Altogether a great piece of kit if you want a period looking & working Tankers Helmet for Living History or display etc. and a fraction of the price of an original.
