WW2 British Paratrooper Helmet MK1
This is a first class reproduction of a British Mk1 fibre rim Paratrooper Helmet 1942 showing ageing, usage markings, discoloration and heavy wear.
This helmet would have been used in the majority of the early to late British Airborne Operations in WW2. It has the brass rivets replaced the stitching normally used to fix the Y-piece. It was not uncommon to find both stitched and riveted 'Y' straps on one helmet!
It has been painted up in a matt olive green pattern used on the standard Mk1 para helmet and also used by the 1st Airborne Task Force for operation Operation Dragoon, the invasion of Southern France, during World War II.
We no longer make other versions of this helmet as we cannot secure parts, if you can provide all relevant parts we may be able to make up a similar one.
