WW2 USA 'D' Bale Refurbished Paratrooper 101st Airborne Helmet

M2 506th PIR Helmet with Stencils
This is an original WW2 front seam, swivel bale, stainless rim M1 NCO helmet, converted by us to a M2 D Bale and repainted by us in 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment 1st Battalion colour's.

This helmet was a WW2 M1 swivel bale and its original paint has been left untouhed. The rest of the stencils and chinstraps have been added and aged by us to create a battlefield found 506th Band of Brothers helmet, taken from an original surviving example. This a very good example of a battlefield found helmet with lots of heavy superficial rusting inside and to a lesser extent outside the shell.

The markings they are all based on an original helmet and the helmet itself is a WW2 M1 version. So you are getting a refurbished shell & replica bale, stencils & chin straps M2 helmet.
