The National Anti-Aircraft Protection Union (UNPA), was a civil protection organisation established on August 31, 1934 . Subsequently it was reorganized with which established its functioning in peacetime and provided for the possible control of the Ministry of War in case of conflict.
The UNPA teams were equipped with the typical small cars used for the transport of people and equipment. The loading material included excavation and breakthrough tools (shovels, picks, axes, etc.), Italian ladders, ropes and other rescue material, as well as portable and shoulder-mounted fire extinguishers for extinguishing the principles of fire.
