SS Heimwehr "Danzig" was an SS unit established in June 1939 in the Free City of Danzig (today Gdańsk, Poland), before the Second World War. It fought with the German Army against the Polish Army during the invasion of Poland, and some of its members committed a massacre of Polish civilians. After this it became part of the 3rd SS Totenkopf Division and ceased to exist as an independent unit.

This decal is very rare, only one known original example exists on a M35 helmet, although several pictures exist of it in use. We have recreated this copy from the known original and several photographs. It measures 33mm wide and 30mm tall.
Made from colour matched bright white & black inks and printed on 1950's screen presses - so there are no digital edges! This decal can also be covered in a suitable acrylic lacquer or varnish. Instructions can be found here.
The penultimate picture shows the 'worn' effect you can carry out on all our decals, instructions found here. The final picture compares our decal and the original helmet.
