This Waffen SS Helmet decal is found on Emaillierwerke A. G., Fulda (EF) M40 helmets produced in 1940 & 1941. Notice the curved angles of the outline and the positioning of the break point to the bottom of the runes.

It has a metallic silver pearlescent tone and this represents a decal having been applied but not varnished.
