This is a GENUINE original WW2 M1 M2 or M1C helmet net. It is manufactured from 100% cotton and made from 9 ply cotton thread. It is Olive Drab No7 in colour (which is a dark green colour) and is in used condition.
This is a superb item for your genuine M1, M2 or M1C Helmet display. This net and several other like it were purchased by us through an auction house from the famous museum "La Percée d’Avranches", which has now unfortunately closed down.
The pictures show the general condition of the net, but each one is different in wear and condition. England manufacturers made by far the majority of all nets seen in use by US & British & Commonwealth Armies in WW2.
