Reproduction & superior quality German U-Boat Kreigsmarine Chief Engineers Peaked cap. This cap has been made to look 70+ years old and comes with a free zinc Nurnberg coat of arms plaque! U-453 sunk 10 ships, damaged 2 and incapacitated 1 Warship. It was sunk on the 21st of May 1944 in the Ionian Sea north-east of Cape Spartivento, by depth charges from the British destroyers HMS Termagent and HMS Tenacious and the British escort destroyer HMS Liddesdale. One crewman was killed and 51 survived.
