This ET68 Model 1938 helmet shell was supplied by a customer in sand blasted condition. The shell is a semi-relic, in other words there is deep pitting all over, both inside and outside. There were smooth areas around the decal area and front left but that was about it. There is a hairline crack on the top of shell and some tiny pin prick sized holes also on the top.
The customer wanted an early war green painted single decal refurbishment. The bolts and chinstraps have been added for photographic effect - they are not part of the refurbishment. Comments are closed.
