Comment from Customer:Hello Warhats.com, I have an old M1 helmet from WWII. After looking at pictures I noticed that the paint on my helmet is a lighter color than the green in the pictures. On further analysis I noticed that there are some chips that reveal the darker paint under the lighter coat. I was wondering is there was a way to sand off the top coat to get to the authentic dark OD coat, or if I should just leave it be. C- USA Comment from WarHats:Hi C Comments are closed.
